Ask.com introduces an official iPhone App with Voice options

Originally known as Ask Jeeves, ask.com is the fifth largest search engine in the world built around answer citizens ' questions in the form of formulated questions. According to the case President Doug Leeds, its 35-40% search queries in the form of questions, compared with 6% to 9% for the other search engines. Ask.com announced that it presents the official app to Apple for approval and also gives some details about its unique features revealed that users; it will be automatically enrolled in the requested recently launched social Q&A together when they Download the app and will be able to ask questions, either by writing or speaking in their iPhone.

The app will translate voice to text and try to offer the most likely answer to your question directly, based on its index of more than 500 million question and answer pairs from sources across the Web, including other Q&A sites, FAQ pages, and more.

There is also an option to "community" that addresses your question to people in the social Q&A networks self selected who are knowledgeable in related categories.Ask.com promised to app before the end of the year will allow users to ask questions from their friends on Facebook and Twitter as well.

A more important and interesting update to the app will be released with the second version of the app that will include a feature called "Related answers." App will display a list of places based on the user's place which he or she can select and ask a question about it. may be anything from a good restaurant or access to the sites on a nearby cinema.Your question will be routed to people nearby or persons who have responded to questions about these sites in the past, you will also be able to see the questions in the vicinity, and adjust the distance from less than 1 mile to 50 nautical miles, using a slider.

This is a great new handy app for solutions on the move and will further contribute to making sites/location-based information next craze for Smartphone users.
