PayPal and iPhone users recently celebrated it very easy to deposit checks by upgraded PayPal iPhone app that allows users to take pictures of their checks to make transactions. The feature was expected to win popularity immediately and that is exactly what happened as the company reports that it has already received more than 100 000 $ in the check box deposits.
It has hardly been a couple of weeks ago the facility made available and it obviously will become an even more common app over the next few days; Director of PayPal Mobile, Laura Chambers wrote on the official PayPal Blog:
We knew that it would be popular but we had no idea how much Pent up demand, there was a quick, easy way to deal with the controls,
PayPal introduced feature mobile check box capture after banks Chase and j P Morgan saw a great feedback from users for their similar iPhone apps; PayPal has a global user base and with the iPhone has become popular around the world, the service will get more users as time goes by.
