Apple approve the Google Voice for iPhone

After approval by a bunch of third party Google voice apps, it appears Apple has finally made it inevitable and obvious by accepting the official Google Voice app for the iPhone. This is the same app that Apple famously banned in summer 2009 and facing an investigation by THE FCC.

The story was broken-TechCrunch reports that Apple has already approved the app and it will make its debut in the app store very soon after Google revamps it to work with iPhone 4 and support multi tasking via the latest version of the Elf; Google has an HTML 5 based Web version of Google voice that released after Apple ban and it was a success with users.

It will not be wrong to say that Google Voice HTML 5 version success must have had some influence in Apple's attitude change.Whatever the problem Apple had with Google, it was users got a practical tool that is taken away from them and when they had an option, they embraced it with open arms.

Apple probably realized that the only losers in the whole situation was themselves and not Google or users of both the avoided and resisted what they should have done long ago, but better late than never.
