Elf 4.0.2/3.2.2 will not get a Jailbreak

Apple recently fixed security holes that made the jailbreak that iPhone 4 drop FW update 7.0.1/3.2.2. Now all the latest iPhone has that version and install the update on their jailbroken devices lose the jailbreak. The only way to keep the jailbreak was to avoid updating and remain vulnerable to a PDF file.

Now, of course, the next logical question is whether there will be a jailbreak/unlock for 4.0.2/3.2.2 users to switch provider (AT&T), and install software from other sources; the answer to this is, unfortunately, no.

IPhone Dev-team has stated on his blog that there is no jailbreak will be released for Elf 4.0.2/3.2.2 to avoid a continuous cat and mouse game with Apple. Dev-Team says:

No, it won't be. FW 4.0.2/3.2.2 was * only * released Movable jailbreakme hole. With FW 4.1 is still in a beta stage, it is pointless to escalate ' cat & mouse "with Apple FW updates only establish jailbreak holes; to quote WOPR," the only winning move is not to play. "

They go to say that a future 4,1 x FW jailbreak can be compatible with 4.0.2/3.2.2. but it is highly unlikely; Now you with iPhone3G or iPod Touch 2 G (not MC version), can use redsn0w to jailbreak devices 4.x.
